Matt is pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Riverside. He is currently researching at the University of Mississippi as a part of their Nanotechnology Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) program. He also works with Dr. Bardeen at UC Riverside researching computational chemistry methods.

Matt’s interests lie at the intersection of physics, applied mathematics and engineering, particularly in using computational and analytical methods to model physical systems. His current goals are to attend graduate school for engineering, with an emphasis on theory-driven problem solving with real-world applications. Matt is actively involved in intramural sports around campus.
